The Need for CCV's Internet Safety Program

Because of the widespread distribution of violent pornography on the internet and the strong correlation between pornographic/sexual addiction and sexual predators, children are being victimized in at least three significant ways via the internet.

First, many children are being sexually abused and tortured in order to produce illegal violent child pornography. Second, many children are being enticed by internet pornographers who target them with unsolicited pornographic E-mails into relationships that lead to dangerous encounters. Third, chat rooms on the internet are being used by pedophiles to connect with minor children. Once identified by the pedophile, children often become the victims of seduction or abduction.

CCV recognizes that the overall porn/sex industry problem has both a supply side facet and a demand side facet.

The supply side of the problem is a predatory industry that is (according to the FBI) 99% controlled by organized crime and requires legal enactment and enforcement responses at the local, state and federal levels which we are already facilitating through the strategic initiatives of the CCV Public Health & Safety Division.

The demand side of the problem, however, is a growing appetite in our nation for unhealthy and illegal pornography that has led millions into internet and sexual addictions, as well as criminal sexual exploitation and abuse.

In order to break the escalating cycle of addiction and abuse, the demand side solution requires a massive education campaign that unmasks the myths about the dangers of the porn sex industry and in particular the dangers to children who are unprotected on-line.

Protect men, women and children from the misinformation of sexual activists, and the harms of sexual addictions, sexual predators, sexually oriented businesses, materials harmful to minors, broadcast indecency, and the porn/sex industry in all of its forms, by promoting the principles of the Judeo/Christian ethic which is the foundation of our nation.

Our Vision

Empower concerned citizens and community leaders to significantly reduce sexual exploitation, sexual promiscuity and sexual abuse in Indiana and beyond by: Increasing public awareness of the harmful effects of pornography-inspired sexual promiscuity, addiction, and abuse particularly in the lives of children. Supporting the enactment, defense and enforcement, within the Constitution, of limitations on the porn /sex industry in all of its forms. Lovingly opposing the legitimacy of all extramarital sexual relationships. Faithfully supporting the traditional family based on the premise that marriage equals one man and one woman. Offering assistance to people suffering from the results of sexual addiction, sexual confusion, sexual promiscuity, and sexual abuse.
